Install Daydream Effect

Download the plugin and get it showing up in your DAW. A couple of minutes, start to finish.

Daydream Effect is a VST3 plugin for macOS and Windows — AU and Max for Live are coming soon. The download is a single zip that also bundles a standalone app you can run without a DAW.

Get the download

On macOS

  1. 1Unzip the downloaded archive.
  2. 2Move Daydream Effect - Alpha.vst3 into ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/.
  3. 3Open your DAW and rescan plugins so it picks up the new VST3.

On Windows

  1. 1Unzip the downloaded archive.
  2. 2Copy the Daydream Effect - Alpha.vst3 folder into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\.
  3. 3Open your DAW and rescan plugins.
Prefer no DAW? The zip includes a standalone too — Daydream Effect - Alpha Standalone.app on macOS (notarized, so no Gatekeeper warning) or Daydream Effect - Alpha.exe in the Standalone folder on Windows. Double-click to run it on its own.
