Cloud Inference

In mid-April 2026, Daydream will transition to a new credit-based pricing system that allows for more granular control over usage. While per-hour rates are not changing at this time:

• All users will be required to choose a credit plan and users who do not take action will have their streams interrupted
• New users will receive a 250-credit grant for their first month, and existing users will receive a 50-credit grant each month

This policy change will be applicable to Daydream Scope cloud inference, as well as legacy API usage. Local usage of Daydream open source tools is — and will remain — free in perpetuity. Next steps and requested actions will be supplied via email and in a banner on daydream.live.
