How credits work
One pool, play and training
Play meters at 1.25 credits a minute, about 75 an hour. Training a Style takes about 45 minutes of that same meter, roughly 56 credits a run. One number to watch, no per-render fees and no surprise multipliers.

The same credits work in DreamSampler and DreamMAX, the web app, and the TouchDesigner operator. Spend them wherever you're creating.
Only while you're playing
Arranging, mixing, and recording what you captured cost nothing. Credits deduct while the engine is streaming audio to you, and while a Style of yours is training.
Run out mid-session? Add 500 credits for $10, as a one-off or automatically. Auto top-up is off by default; you can turn it on in account settings.

New subscribers pay $4.99 for their first month of Pro or $12.99 for their first month of Max. After that first cycle, it renews at the standard rate — $10/mo for Pro or $30/mo for Max. Your monthly credits are the same from day one; only the price of the first month changes. Cancel anytime.
No. The plugins are free to download, and the Free plan includes 50 credits every month plus a limited Style catalog. A paid plan adds Style training — train on your own material and play the result — along with the full catalog and more hours.
Credits work across every Daydream tool. Play DreamSampler and DreamMAX in your DAW, train a Style on your own material, use the web app, or drive the TouchDesigner operator — everything deducts from the same pool. One plan, every instrument.
Playback stops until your credits refresh at the next cycle. You can upgrade, top up mid-session on Pro and Max, or run the open-source engine locally on your own GPU, which is always free.
Yes, always. The DEMON engine is open source and runs on your own GPU for free. The cloud is there for when you don't have one, or when you want the fastest hardware without owning it.
While the engine is playing, and while a Style of yours is training. Time spent arranging, mixing, editing, or sitting connected but paused doesn't count.
Your monthly allowance resets each billing cycle — use it however you want during the month: production, sound design, live sets, or all three. Credits you buy on top of it are different: top-ups and redeemed codes stay on your balance until you spend them.
Yes. Making music with Daydream involves real human skill beyond prompting — the audio you generate is your creative output and belongs to you, on every plan including Free.
Yes. Hit Cancel plan on the Usage page in your dashboard. Your access continues through the end of your current billing cycle.
