Our mission
At Daydream, we believe people deserve deep, expressive control over the tools that shape their creative work. AI is first and foremost a technology; the human experience of the technology — and its ultimate impact on art and society — depends on choices made by builders at each layer of the stack.
When crafting AI-augmented products for music, art, and media creation, we can choose to build for humans:
- Optimize for control and transparency
- Design to enable a flow state (from the engine, to the UX, to the connection with the physical world)
- Create opportunities for skill development and mastery
- Respect the craft, its practitioners, and its history
We build tools and instruments to support this vision.
Team
We're a small, globally distributed team of musicians and artists. We've spent years understanding the frontiers of AV technology, and we build tools that we are deeply proud to share.
