Install DreamMAX

Drop the Max for Live device into your Ableton User Library and onto any track.

DreamMAX is the Max for Live version of Daydream — a .amxd device that runs inside Ableton Live alongside your transport. Ableton Live 12 Suite is required (Suite is the tier that ships Max for Live).

Get the download
Keep the unzipped DreamMAX folder together. The device loads demon-bridge.js and the demon~ external from beside the .amxd, so moving the file alone breaks it. Drop the whole folder somewhere stable (a Documents subfolder, your User Library — anywhere consistent) and drag the device from there.
  1. 1Unzip the downloaded archive and keep the folder intact (don't pull files out of it).
  2. 2In Ableton Live, drag DreamMAX.amxd from the unzipped folder onto a track that makes sound — the track's audio becomes the source DreamMAX regenerates.

This release is for Ableton's Session View only — Arrangement View isn't supported yet.
