Key

Key doesn't always adhere to specific modes, though genre-aware generation tends to do a decent job of adhering to the modes used in that genre. For example, if you're creating audio in C# Minor and specify Swing as the genre, it will likely use Dorian or a jazz minor as a home base and incorporate appropriate melodic and harmonic ideas.

Chord-based transformation and cue sheets coming soon.

Sets the musical key the engine should follow.

Left alone, it infers a key from your source. Pin it and the output stays in the key you name.

Why it matters

Stops a transformed take from drifting out of key with the rest of your session.
