How many songs can you download from Suno?
Since 3 September 2026, Suno Free has no monthly downloads: 7 for the life of the account, for personal use only. Pro ($10 a month) gets 20 downloads a month and Premier ($30 a month) 60, resetting on your billing date with no rollover; downloads from Suno Studio, on Premier, aren't limited. A song counts once whatever the format, stems included. Past the cap you can buy more or upgrade. If you need sung vocals, stay with Suno. For instrumentals, any Daydream credit pack, from $3, unlocks unlimited downloads of mixes, stems and WAV, with no subscription.
How the limit counts
- Pro and Premier downloads reset on your billing date; unused downloads don't roll over.
- Free's 7 trial downloads are for the life of the account and never reset.
- One song counts once, whatever the format, and its stems come with it; downloading it again is free.
- Failed or interrupted downloads don't count.
- Downloads from Suno Studio, on Premier, aren't limited.
- You can buy more downloads, at a price Suno's pricing page doesn't list, or upgrade.
- Listening and sharing on Suno stay unlimited on every plan.
- Cancel and downloads drop to the free plan's limits; songs you downloaded while subscribed keep their commercial rights.

Stay with Suno if
- You want a song with sung vocals and lyrics. Daydream makes instrumentals only.
- You want more songs for free: Suno Free gives 50 credits a day, Daydream Free 5 songs a month.
- You want to add new vocals to a song you already have (Suno Premier).
Use Daydream if
- You need to download what you make. Any Daydream credit pack, from $3, unlocks unlimited downloads of mixes, stems and WAV, and the credits never expire.
- You don't want another subscription. Daydream gives you free songs and Studio time every month, then credit packs from $3 that never expire, with every feature on every account: credits decide how much you make, not what you can use.
- You want every part as its own stem, on every account, Free included. Daydream makes each song as its parts rather than splitting a finished mix, so the stems add up to the mix exactly and you can make one part again with the others unchanged.
- You want to use free music commercially. Everything you make on Daydream is cleared for commercial use, Free included.
Questions
- Do Suno downloads reset every month?
- On Pro and Premier, yes: 20 or 60 downloads reset on your billing date, and unused ones don't roll over. Suno Free's 7 trial downloads are for the life of the account and never reset, as of 29 October 2026.
- Do stems count as extra Suno downloads?
- No. Per Suno's help centre as of 29 October 2026, a song's stems are part of that song's one download, and downloading the same song again, in any format, doesn't use another. On Daydream every song is made with its stems, and any credit pack unlocks unlimited stem downloads; Daydream Free includes 3 stem downloads a month and unlimited MP3s.
- Can I buy more Suno downloads?
- Yes. Suno says you can buy more downloads once you reach the limit, or upgrade; its pricing page doesn't list what they cost, as of 29 October 2026. On Daydream, $3 of credits makes 60 songs, and any pack unlocks unlimited downloads of everything you make.
- What happens to my Suno downloads if I cancel?
- Your songs stay in your Suno library and stay playable and shareable there, but downloads drop to the free plan's limits. Songs you downloaded while subscribed keep their commercial rights, per Suno's help centre as of 29 October 2026. Daydream has no subscription to cancel: credits never expire.
- What does one Suno download cost?
- About 50¢ a song if you use every download: Pro is $10 a month for 20, Premier $30 a month for 60. Daydream songs are 5¢ each from credit packs, every one downloadable as a mix, stems and WAV.
- Is there a Suno alternative with unlimited downloads?
- For instrumentals, Daydream: any credit pack, from $3, unlocks unlimited downloads of mixes, stems and WAV, cleared for commercial use, and the credits never expire. $10 of credits makes 200 songs. It makes instrumental music, not vocals.
- Can I use music from Daydream's free plan commercially?
- Yes. Everything you make on Daydream is cleared for personal or commercial use on every account, Free included. Suno Free has no commercial rights.
- Does Daydream make vocals or lyrics?
- No. Daydream makes instrumental music. In Studio you can bring in your own recording, your voice included, and the other parts are made around it.
