DreamSampler FX
Some DAWs only load effect plugins and won't accept virtual instruments at all — DJ.Studio is the common one. This is the same DreamSampler, registered as an effect so those hosts will load it. Same engine, same interface, same account.
Before you install
- Install this one only if you need it. If your DAW already lists DreamSampler, use the normal build. The two install side by side, so having both is fine — it just means two entries in your plugin list.
- It replaces the track's audio. Dropped in an effect slot, DreamSampler FX plays its own generated audio instead of processing what's already on the track — so put it on a track you're happy to hand over.
- Your DAW may not send it MIDI. Trigger it from the plugin window, or automate its PLAYBACK parameter from your DAW's automation lane.
An effect build ships with every DreamSampler build, so the numbers match the ones on what's new.
