Fade in / out
Short fades at the start and end of every slice.
A few milliseconds at each end, which is enough to kill the click on the attack and the one on release.
Why it matters
Sliced audio clicks at the edges. This is the fix, and it's usually the first thing to reach for when chops sound harsh.
