How a recalled preset arrives — a cut, or a cross-fade over a set time.
Cut snaps straight to the stored settings. A time cross-fades the knob parameters over that long instead.
Why it matters
It's one global setting, not one per slot — so it decides whether preset changes are edits or transitions.
