Takes
Freeze what the engine is playing, then arrange from the frozen copies.
A take is a captured copy of the live stream. The stream keeps running underneath while you play a take back, and you can return to it at any point.
Why it matters
The engine never repeats itself exactly. A take is how a moment you liked stops being temporary.
