Drop a file anywhere on the source panel, or pull in a region from your DAW. Loop a section of it if you prefer.
Why it matters
While the engine can create sound from nothing, source audio gives it a starting point for density, structure, and other sonic characteristics. You can adjust the relationship between the source and the output like you would a dry/wet mix (for example, nudging a field recording towards a more musical cadence).
