Terrain view

Three camera angles on the same ring — top, tilted, or from underneath.

Top is the plan view, straight down. Tilt leans the ring back so the ridges and valleys read as relief. Flip looks at the buffer from underneath. The terrain itself does not change; only where you stand to look at it does.

Why it matters

Top is the one to read positions from — where a slice starts, where the loop sits. Tilt is the one to read change from: a knob move that barely registers as a colour shift from above is obvious as a ridge growing when the ring is leaning away from you.
