Split a slice

Double-click a slice to split it — with Slice by set to Manual.

Manual mode is what makes the slice points yours. In any other mode the marks come from transients, the grid or equal regions, and double-clicking does nothing.

Why it matters

The automatic methods get you most of the way; this is how you fix the two marks they put in the wrong place.
